Working Cheats And Pro Version Cholesterol & BP Log: Heartie

Heartie is a blood pressure diary and cholesterol tracker in one app. Log your readings, store your lab results, and turn months of numbers into a clear PDF report for your doctor.

Free to start. No account, no sign-up, and no daily limit on how often you log a reading or a weigh-in. Heartie carries no advertising.

WHAT YOU CAN TRACK

• Blood pressure and pulse - systolic, diastolic and pulse with notes, full history and charts. Every reading is placed on a standard classification scale, from optimal through the stages of hypertension.
• Your lipid panel - total cholesterol, LDL-C, HDL-C, triglycerides, ApoB and non-HDL-C, in mg/dL or mmol/L, with informational reference ranges. Heartie reminds you when your last panel is getting old.
• Weight and body measurements - goal weight, days to goal, 7- and 14-day averages, body fat and waist, shown as a trend rather than a single number.
• Cholesterol in what you eat - a built-in database of 7,083 foods with cholesterol, protein and fat (total, saturated, mono and poly) for each one.

FOOD TOOLS

• Scan a barcode to pull up a product, or search online when something is missing.
• Build a meal from several products and portions and see the totals at once.
• Check the fat and protein in a specific portion.
• Generate recipes matched to how you eat - keto, paleo and others.
• Add your own products and keep a favourites list.

A REPORT YOUR DOCTOR CAN READ

Instead of scrolling through an app in the consulting room, export a PDF: your pressure trend and averages, highest and lowest readings, weight progress, starting and current BMI, your lipid results, your own notes and a period-over-period comparison. Pick the range - the last 90 days, or whatever your appointment covers. You can also export to CSV or send it by email.

BUILT FOR STICKING WITH IT

• Reminders for readings and for weigh-ins, at times you choose.
• Streaks and badges for consecutive days logged.
• Optional sync with Google Health for weight, body fat, waist, systolic, diastolic and heart rate.
• Short, practical guides on lipids and everyday habits.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT

Your records stay on your device. There is no account to create and nothing to sign up for before you start.

FREE AND PREMIUM

Logging blood pressure, pulse and weight is free and unlimited. Premium unlocks the PDF doctor report, Google Health sync, unlimited barcode scanning and online food search, the meal and portion calculators, body-composition charts and watermark-free sharing. Available as a subscription or as a one-time lifetime purchase; some features can also be unlocked individually.

WHO IT SUITS

Anyone keeping a blood pressure log between appointments, anyone who has been told to watch their cholesterol, anyone tracking weight and BMI over months rather than days, and anyone who wants their lab results, readings and food notes in one place instead of four.

WHAT HEARTIE IS NOT

Heartie is a diary. It does not measure blood pressure with your phone - you enter readings from your own cuff, or let Google Health bring them in. Heartie is not a medical device: it does not diagnose, prevent, monitor or treat any condition, and nothing in the app replaces advice from your doctor.

Simple app containing food & health info with the ability to store health test details (weight, blood pressure, cholesterol). UI is a bit clunky in places. Nb test units of mmol/L are not remembered for cholesterol - when corrected the reading is incorrectly recalculated. Too expensive for what it offers I think.

Thanks for the candid review. Sorry about the clunky spots and the mmol/L issue where the unit isn’t saved. I’ve logged this as a priority fix. If possible, could you tell which parts of the UI feel clunky to you? Please email details to [email protected] eventually so I can verify that and make it right.

Not quite what I wanted. It has a list of foods but it's not very extensive and it is also hard to find basic foods such as rice, etc. If a food has 0 cholesterol you really should include it, it would encourage people to eat it. Just not for me. Uninstalled it.

Criterias for non-cholesterol foods are simple. If they are not from animals they cointain no cholesterol. I see no reason to include all the foods that has 0 cholesterol when this rule can be easily applied when searching for foods.
